Akc Boxer
The akc boxer has many pictures available from both breeders and rescues.
According to the standard, an ideal dog of this breed should be medium-sized; square built, and should possess strong limbs, and short, tight-fitting coat. The dog’s gait should be firm, the carriage proud. The breed was originally developed as a guard, working and companion dog. Intelligent, lively, playful, and versatile, these dogs are quite sociable and do well with children. Shyness is a fault in the breed. Alert and willing to learn, they excel in various canine sports, and make very good family pets and companions.

The breed standard changed several times since the beginning of the breed. Early dogs of this breed were white; then, in 1925 white dogs were no longer accepted and the only accepted coat color became fawn with white and black markings. In recent years, white dogs were added to the standard and cropping ears and tails is being discussed. The first breed standard was developed in Germany. The American Kennel Club accepted this breed in 1915, when the first championship for the breed was held. Today, this breed is one of the most favorite family companions.
